I think it was an interesting idea and it shows how much writers prepare and pre-plan their work before publishing and maybe then they have to check it again if they find mistakes. It seems like a very difficult process. I expected them to just write whatever came to their minds and then think about order and the 'boring stuff'. It seems like it's harder than it seems and someone can't just write a book/poem as it comes to them, as though it is a 'revelation', they have to think about every single bit of detail. Maybe now when I come across a book that I don't particularly like, I'll think about how hard it must have been to plan it and then maybe that will make me like it.
