Goblin Market

I like the fact that Rosetti described the fruit as tempting and inviting and I liked the fact that it is similar to what happened with Adam and Eve. The fruit is seen as good and bad, it's seen as good because it is inviting but it is forbidden, therefore it's evil. The different interpretations are interesting, like the way Laura's lock of golden hair is made to seem precious and she even cries (until she gets her fruits) and the way the Goblins' outer appearance shows goodness because they had 'voice of doves'. When they've got her trapped, the Goblins are no longer kind because they don't need to be. This is just like the way the Goblins' fruits look good on the outside and they probably taste nice, too, but the core is evil and eventually the appearance won't be enough and all that will be left is the evil.
